evolve is a community dance party for people who grew up in rave culture (or feel deeply connected to it) but are ready for a more intentional & connected way of gathering.

​

Aligned with the beginning of the Chinese New Year, this event invites us to explore a healthier, more present relationship with electronic dance music, community, and ourselves.​

CORE INTENTIONS:

• Alcohol- and powdered substance-free

• A shared container that begins and ends with intentional community connection

• Live band and epic local Kootenay DJs for a balanced, diverse musical journey

• Family-friendly until 9:00 PM, then 19+

THIS EVENT IS FOR:

• Longtime ravers and dancefloor darlings

• Curious newcomers looking for a welcoming environment 

• People experimenting with sobriety or reduced consumption

• Those seeking social connection without burnout or hangovers

• Delicious food for purchase by Talishack Kitchen and a by-donation tea station available throughout the evening (please bring cash).

• Group intention-setting activation & community altar

• A diverse offering of music styles across the night

• Local art & a cozy chill-out zone

• A closing sound bath to gently wrap up the evening

We invite you to choose a price that reflects your current capacity and helps keep this offering accessible to the wider community. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. We are looking for volunteers to support this event and are happy to meet you where you’re at.

At its core, evolve offers a welcoming, “sober-ish” space to move your body, connect with others, and experience music in a more present way. We look forward to gathering with you!
